HURRAY co-founders Mrs Chandrabati Chatterjee and Mr Sanjit Chatterjee wanted to implement their experience in education, empowerment and enablement towards building confidence in Indian students and job seekers. Having experienced a major part of their work life in Europe, the husband-wife duo believed they could apply their technical acumen, social skills and capability building towards creating islands of training and teaching excellence for students and job seekers aspiring to study/work overseas..
A teacher for most of her life in India and Europe, Chandrabati has also served in the Indian Embassy for a few years. HURRAY, too, began its journey as a teaching initiative of Chandrabati. In her current role at HURRAY, Chandrabati oversees operations at both the centers. Her earnest efforts in nurturing HURRAY, amidst many challenges, has made HURRAY a noteworthy name in the IELTS/PTE training domain in Bangalore. Besides engaging with students and trainers in her professional role, Chandrabati takes delight in cooking experimental dishes and investing time in teaching children.
Sanjit's professional journey in leadership began right after his college, when he had to guide over 1800 staff at the grassroot level of an organisation. An alumnus of IIT (BHU), Sanjit has over 30-plus years of experience across organisations like IBM, Nestle, Johnson & Johnson, Tata Steel and Philip Morris, to name a few. As one of its co-founders, Sanjit channels his wide- ranging experience in mentoring and training people in large-scale companies towards building a people-friendly ecosystem at HURRAY. In his ongoing journey at HURRAY, Sanjit has successfully mentored many students/job seekers towards fulfilling their dreams of studying and working abroad. Sanjit believes in fostering a work culture where people across all streams of life are embraced and trained, so they can reveal their unique potential. An avid sportslover, Sanjit loves listening to Bengali songs and enjoys poetry and arts.
