You are given questions, which have to be answered by choosing from the given options. Your task is to carefully read the given passage and choose the correct option.
There are 2 types of questions with MCQs in IELTS – one where there are multiple correct answers, and one where there is just one correct answer.

How to Solve the Task?
Follow these steps:

Read the questions and options.

Keeping the question and options in mind, read the passage carefully.

Make note of/mark all the places where you find information that comes close to the given options.

Review the passage again to finalize your answer.

Fill in the answer.
Tips and Tricks

Cross out the wrong options. There are two ways to identify the wrong option: a) that information will not appear at all b) that information will directly contradict the passage.

Don’t search for the exact wording of each option in the passage. The information may be spread out across 2-3 sentences, or maybe written completely differently. Pay attention to meaning.
