QUT is a top ranked university, located in Queensland, Australia – its rank as of 2019 includes a spot in THE’s top 250 universities worldwide, as well as a high 24^th among the world’s best universities under 50 years old. Offering undergraduate, postgraduate and research degree programmes, QUT is best known for its STEM subjects, as well as Building and planning, Creative practice, communication and design, and Health and community. 1. Entry requirements

The minimum academic entry requirement into a postgraduate certificate, diploma or degree programme, is a Bachelors degree, or a degree with a major, in the same or related subject. Certain programmes will also require a minimum grade.

English language requirements: for a student from India, proof of English language proficiency includes a Bachelors degree or higher from a recognised Indian institution completed within 5 years of applying to QUT, a minimum 65% score in the high school English core subject (CICSE/CBSE), and a minimum score in one of the following language tests – IELTS Academic, Cambridge English, Pearson PTE, or TOEFL.

2. Costs and Funding

The approximate annual tuition fee is 33-35000 AUD for most diploma/degree programmes, and 15-17000 AUD for a certificate course.  

Scholarships: A number of scholarships are available to help fund your study – for instance, the International Merit Scholarship, is offered to commencing international students accepted to study in one of the eligible Masters programmes, with an award of up to 25% tuition fee coverage, subject to marks at the time of enrolment and marks during the course of study.
