1. Entry requirements

The general academic requirement for entry into a Masters (coursework) programme is a degree equivalent to an Australian Bachelors degree, with minimum scores or required subjects varying as per the course. Additional entry requirements such as work experience may also be present, depending on the course.

English language requirements are satisfied by the achievement of minimum scores required by each course in an internationally-recognised English test, including IELTS Academic, TOEFL, or PTE Academic, or proof that your previous education has been in the English medium for a minimum of two years, subject to university evaluation.

2. Costs and Funding

The tuition fee for international students for a graduate diploma course ranges between 17000-33000 AUD per annum, while for a Masters Course it ranges between 28000-37000 AUD. The variations are as per discipline of study.

Scholarships: all international students applying for an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree are automatically considered for the Tasmania International Scholarship, which awards a 25% reduction in annual tuition fee for the duration of the course, subject to maintenance of academic performance. Qualification for the scholarship is based on merit, subject to assessment by admissions officers.
