Informally known as Sac State, this university is one of the oldest and largest institutions in the California State University system, and is located in the city of Sacramento. It offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programmes in subjects such as Nursing and Psychology, with its Chemistry programmes among the CSU system’s largest, and also offers an International MBA. It has a total enrolment of about 23000 students.

Entry Requirements
The minimum entry requirement for a graduate programme is a qualification equivalent to a 4-year US Bachelor’s degree, from an accredited institution with a minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher depending on the programme. GRE and/or GMAT with a programme-specific minimum score will also be required.
English Language Requirement: 550/80 in TOEFL pBT/iBT, 6.5 in IELTS, or 65 in PTE Academic, are the accepted standard test scores.

Costs and Funding
The average graduate tuition fee is approximately 12000 USD per annum.
Scholarships: students can make a single application and accordingly will be matched to any available scholarships, offering partial-to-full funding, depending on the department, programme, and subject to criteria such as a minimum GPA or demonstration of need.

Application timeline
Applications for international graduate students is March 1 for the Fall semester, beginning in late August.
